BIA BELIEVES IN DOING WELL BY DOING GOOD.
The BIA’s Affordable/Workforce Housing Committee recognizes the city’s urgent need to address affordable housing and equity gap issues. We know that by leveraging public-private partnerships, BIA members can work with the city to meet affordable housing needs, address equitable development issues, and make profitable investments in Philadelphia's neighborhoods.
In partnership with industry employers, educational and training organizations, and other professionals, the BIA’s Workforce Development Alliance is aimed at alleviating the chronic shortage of skilled labor in the construction industry, while providing well-paying jobs for city residents.
