Attention Landlords: Renters’ Access Act Effective October 15
Philadelphia City Council recently passed legislation requiring uniform screening practices and regulating the criteria that landlords can use to evaluate tenants.
Known as The Renters’ Access Act, Bill Nos. 210329 and 210330 were signed by Mayor Kenney on July 15 and become effective 90 days later, or October 15.
