Time Limitations for Construction Activity Revised

Following the BIA Member Meeting on May 13, the BIA received an email update from L+I Commissioner David Perri related to the permitted hours of operation for construction sites:

"The regulation was approved today and is effective immediately. The construction hour curfew for all projects except for 1 and 2 family construction has been rescinded. You are free to extend shifts and work weekends. Be mindful of the City’s existing noise ordinance."

Please review the full Work Hour Regulation.

Members are encouraged to also review the Requirements for resuming construction activity in Philadelphia on L+I's website and the Restarting Construction FAQs.
