THE AFFORDABLE/WORKFORCE HOUSING COMMITTEE is a resource for private-sector production of for-sale and rental units, including new construction and the retrofitting of existing housing stock.
THE BIA YP provides a network for young professionals in the building industry to foster opportunity for all members and provide support for BIA goals and initiatives.
THE BUILDING INNOVATION COMMITTEE promotes the understanding and practice of sustainable building techniques and design strategies in the construction industry that lessen negative impacts on the environment and benefit the health and well-being of occupants.
THE EVENTS COMMITTEE develops and helps implement BIA’s yearlong calendar of educational and networking events.
THE GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE tracks public policies and practices that impact the building industry at the national, state and local levels and convenes regularly with city agencies, elected officials, policymakers and community stakeholders.
THE MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE is responsible for recruiting and retaining members through events, member drives, and other initiatives.
THE MULTIFAMILY COMMITTEE connects all professionals involved in multifamily development and construction to share ideas, prepare for new opportunities, and build expertise and connections.
