Lights Out Now Philly!
Attention members and friends, Lights Out Philly starts August 15 and you can help!
Tens of millions of birds will pass through Philadelphia during the fall migration season. Unfortunately, thousands do not survive due to collisions with buildings and glass. The BIA is a proud supporter of Lights Out and Bird Safe Philly.
You, your property managers and HOAs, and your residential and commercial tenants can help support the effort. Turn off unnecessary lights and minimize lighting from midnight to 6:00 am from August 15 through November 15. Learn more and sign up as a participant at birdsafephilly.org and follow @birdsafephilly.
